Pastor Whitney Scott Owens was saved as a seven year old boy in his family home. After high school he began college at Marietta College where he met the love of his life and future wife Tara; later transferring to The Ohio State University to finish out his undergraduate work. After college he began a career in the global food manufacturing arena which allowed for him and Mrs. Owens to move around the country from the east coast to the south west working in his career. At the age of 33 Pastor Owens gave up his career and enrolled in Bible College as he was sure of his call to preach, earning his bachelor of Ministry. In Bible College he began to work as the Assistant Pastor at the Canal Fulton Baptist Church and was called and accepted the position of Sr. Pastor in his senior year. Today, he and Mrs. Owens have three young boys, Thatcher, Declan and Silas and together they strive to serve the Lord daily in the ministry He has allowed for them.

Assistant Pastor Cody Hamby trusted Christ as his Saviour at age 14 during a teen church camp meeting. At age 16 he surrendered to the call of God on his life to preach. After high school, he attended Massillon Baptist College from which he graduated in 2017. In 2016 Cody married his wonderful wife and help meet, Hannah. As Cody sought the Lord's will, it became clear that God wanted him in the US Army as chaplain, to reach our men and women in uniform for Christ. He then enrolled at Lancaster Bible College to aquire an accredited bachelors degree which he received in 2019. He is currently serving in the US Army Reserves as a chaplain candidate with the future goal of becoming an Army chaplain. He and Hannah have a beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn and a handsome son, Owen. They all enjoy serving the Lord at Canal Fulton Baptist Church.
